It’s enabled me to set up my own business and gain five new clients in my first month of trading

  • Given referrals without asking
  • Invited to talk at numerous events
  • Becoming Vice-President at my Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • Invited to amazing events I would never normally be able to attend
  • Learn a new sport which I now love
  • Oh yes, make some new friends along the way!

More importantly, it’s helped me create a trusted business community around me.

And I want to show YOU how you can achieve this too!

How did it all start?

I absolutely hated networking . . .

The first event I went to I was completely unprepared.

I’d been sent to “get sales” having no idea how to sell (I was a graphic designer).

And what on earth was a 60 second elevator pitch!

Before I went into the event I sat in my car contemplating whether anyone would actually know if I had attended. I’m rubbish at telling lies so I knew I had to go in.

It was an awful experience. I was quite shy, everyone seemed to know each other and I felt like a fish out of water.

I told everyone at work that “networking wasn’t going to win us business” and didn’t go back for 18 months.

Over the years I’ve made every mistake conceivable on my networking journey!

I would never hear what others said in their 60 seconds because I was too worried about my own.

I didn’t have a plan, tried to sell and dipped in and out of the events.

Why did everyone rave about how great networking was – it didn’t work for me.

Eventually, after asking for some advice and lots of people watching, it did start working.

Over the years I built a large and trusted networking community around me.

This is why I’m passionate about helping you succeed and thrive at networking way quicker than I did!

Throughout my career people have asked me to teach them how networking could work for them too.

So, it seemed a natural progression to turn my passion into a business to help you!
